Bangka Belitung Offers Free Legal Consultation Services to Public

The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in the Bangka Belitung Islands is launching a free legal consultation service for the public. This initiative aims to enhance access to justice and provide legal education and assistance across the region.

Johan Manurung, Head of the Regional Office, stated that the service demonstrates the government's commitment to public legal services. He emphasized that the program is designed for easy, fast, and targeted legal education and assistance. "Every citizen has the right to access information and justice. Through this legal consultation service, we strive to provide legal understanding from the outset so that people can take appropriate steps when facing problems," Manurung said.

The office will also facilitate referrals to accredited legal aid or legal assistance organizations for individuals who qualify for further legal representation. This ensures that those in need receive professional and ongoing legal support.

The office plans to expand outreach through various channels, including social media, to ensure public awareness of these available legal resources.
