The branch previously operated at 396 Jl. Merdeka Barat in Pananjung. It now occupies a site at Grand Pangandaran, Jl. Merdeka, Kavling C-3A, in Pangandaran district. The branch began operating at the new location on July 13, 2026.

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi attended the inauguration and signed a commemorative plaque. Pangandaran Regent Citra Pitriyami witnessed the signing, alongside bank bjb commissioners, directors and other officials. Mulyadi described stronger regional economic activity as an important part of West Java's development and said local banking networks could improve access to financial services while supporting productive businesses.

Pangandaran's economy draws on its coastal area, tourism and creative industries.
