Bank Jago Launches 'Inspirasi Kantong' for Personalized Financial Management

Bank Jago has introduced Inspirasi Kantong, a new feature within its Jago Application designed to help users manage their money more personally. This feature allows individuals to create separate virtual "money pockets" tailored to specific financial goals, habits, and management styles, moving away from the traditional single-account approach.

The core idea behind Inspirasi Kantong is to empower users to control their spending, saving, and financial targets more effectively by segmenting their funds. The feature offers personalized recommendations for organizing these pockets, catering to diverse financial priorities, needs, and journeys. Currently, six distinct "Inspiration Pocket" types are available, each designed for different user profiles: the pioneer, the fighter, the builder, the protector, the guardian, and the designer.

Michael Hartawan, Head of Retail Banking Brand & Marketing at Bank Jago, emphasized that the feature acknowledges the unique financial goals and management methods of each individual. "We are presenting Inspirasi Kantong to assist users in discovering pocket composition ideas that are suitable and relevant to their personal situations and finances," he stated.

This initiative follows Bank Jago's "Reality Challenge: The Art of Placing Money." The challenge involved 10 participants with varied backgrounds and financial objectives, who were tasked with managing an additional Rp 10 million over 30 days using the Jago Application. Initially, eight out of ten participants preferred having more money over being better at managing it. However, after the 30-day challenge, this perspective shifted, with eight participants ultimately valuing improved money management skills over simply possessing more funds. This outcome highlighted that effective money management, aligned with personal goals and priorities, is more crucial than the nominal amount of money itself.
