Banyuasin to Host 2026 Sholeh Children's Jamboree to Strengthen Student Bonds

Banyuasin Regency in South Sumatra is set to host the 2026 Sholeh Children's Jamboree, a significant event designed to foster unity among Islamic students throughout the province. The jamboree is scheduled to take place from August 4 to 8, 2026, and is an initiative of the Pondok Pesantren Modern Darussalam Bunga Karang.

The event aims to serve as a platform for character development and the reinforcement of Islamic values among young people, particularly students from MTs (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) and MA (Madrasah Aliyah) levels. The local government has expressed strong commitment to the jamboree's success.

Netta Indian, the Deputy Regent of Banyuasin, stated that the regency government is ready to provide full support for the event. "We are ready to support and assist with what we can facilitate. The Banyuasin Regency Government is also providing ambulance units with medical personnel from the Health Office as a concrete form of support for the smooth and safe running of the activity," Indian said.

The Sholeh Children's Jamboree is expected to be an effective venue for character building, strengthening Islamic values, and promoting a spirit of togetherness among the youth of South Sumatra. It is anticipated that the event will not only serve as a platform for competition and education but also as a means to deepen Islamic brotherhood among participants, fostering strong solidarity.
