Başakşehir's Conference League Opponent Determined: Inter Turku

Turkish football club Başakşehir has learned its opponent for the UEFA Conference League's second qualifying round: Finland's Inter Turku.

Inter Turku secured their spot in the next stage by overcoming Bosnia and Herzegovina's Sarajevo in a hard-fought third qualifying round tie. After a 1-1 draw away from home in the first leg, Inter Turku hosted Sarajevo for the return match. Sarajevo took the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal from Francis Kyeremeh, ending the first half with a 1-0 advantage.

However, the Finnish side mounted a comeback in the second half. Goals from Alie Conteh in the 58th minute and Clinton Jephta in the 87th minute sealed a 2-1 victory for Inter Turku, allowing them to advance to the second qualifying round. This aggregate win sets up the clash with Başakşehir.

The first leg of the encounter between Başakşehir and Inter Turku is slated to take place on July 22 in Istanbul, with kickoff at 20:45 local time. The return leg will be held in Finland on July 30 at 19:00 EET.
