Women's EuroLeague and EuroCup Opponents Determined for Turkish Teams

The draw for the FIBA Women's EuroLeague and EuroCup has set the stage for Turkish basketball clubs, determining their opponents for the upcoming season. The draws, conducted in Munich, Germany, have placed the nation's top teams into their respective groups.

In the prestigious EuroLeague, reigning champions Fenerbahçe Opet are set to compete in Group C. Their domestic rivals, Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring, will battle it out in Group B. The qualifying rounds will also see Emlak Konut facing Greek side Panathinaikos in the semifinals.

The FIBA Women's EuroCup will feature last season's champions, ÇİMSA ÇBK Mersin, who are placed in Group D. Beşiktaş BOA will represent Turkey in Group B of the same competition. The qualifying matches for the EuroCup are scheduled to take place between September 24 and October 1, with the regular season commencing on October 15.

The EuroLeague regular season is slated to begin on Wednesday, October 14. The draws have outlined the initial matchups, with several other European teams joining the Turkish contenders in their respective groups, including Spanish, French, Italian, and Greek clubs.
