Bayern Munich Not Considering Olise's Exit Amid Transfer Speculation

Bayern Munich is not considering the possibility of selling French player Michael Olise, according to sporting director Christoph Freund. Freund explicitly stated that the player's departure is not even a topic of discussion for the German club.

"For us, that is not even a topic. We will be happy when Michael returns when he rejoins. But now he is enjoying a well-deserved vacation," Freund told BR24, the Bavarian public broadcaster, after a preseason friendly match. This statement directly addresses speculation about a potential interest from Real Madrid.

The friendly match in question saw Bayern Munich suffer a 2-1 defeat against Wehen Wiesbaden, a team from the German third division. Following the game, Freund was questioned about the French player's potential transfer. He used the opportunity to firmly deny any interest from Bayern Munich in parting ways with Olise.

Olise is currently on vacation following his participation in the World Cup, where the French national team was eliminated in the semifinals by Spain. Spain went on to win the tournament for the second time in their history.
