Bcons acquires Thuan An 2 project for over 3 trillion dong

Bcons, a prominent developer of affordable housing in Vietnam, has significantly expanded its footprint by acquiring the Thuan An 2 project in Binh Duong province. The deal, valued at over 3 trillion Vietnamese dong (approximately $120 million USD), was finalized through B-ONE TECH Construction Co., Ltd. and associated investors within the Bcons group.

The Thuan An 2 project, previously owned by Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation, is situated in a prime location in Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City. This acquisition marks a notable merger and acquisition (M&A) in Vietnam's real estate sector, reinforcing Bcons' strategy to broaden its development into mixed-use commercial and urban complexes.

This strategic move allows Bcons to shorten its land acquisition timeline and solidify its leading position in the eastern Ho Chi Minh City region's housing market. Phat Dat, on the other hand, is divesting from projects with substantial investment value to concentrate resources on larger, more strategic developments, such as the Thu Thiem Eco Smart City project. The sale of Thuan An 2 provides Phat Dat with significant capital to pursue these high-value opportunities.
