BCWW and FOX Partner to Promote Korean Broadcast Formats Globally

The International Broadcasting and Contents Market (BCWW) is joining forces with FOX Entertainment, a prominent U.S. media company, to bolster the global reach of Korean broadcast formats. This collaboration aims to identify and support innovative Korean content with international appeal.

The "BCWW x FOX K-Format Showcase," a new initiative for this year, will take place on September 15th during the BCWW 2026 event at COEX in Seoul. The showcase is specifically designed for non-scripted (unscripted) formats that hold global rights. Selected companies will have the opportunity to pitch their concepts directly to FOX executives, including Sophie Lenard, Senior Vice President of Non-Scripted Television at FOX, and Sam Stacy, Vice President.

This partnership builds on FOX's previous successes in adapting popular Korean formats. The network has previously brought "King of Mask Singer" to international audiences as "The Masked Singer" and "I Can See Your Voice" to global viewers. The showcase offers a significant platform for Korean creators, with the potential for top projects to be developed further in collaboration with FOX, opening doors for new content to reach worldwide audiences.
