Beauty center owner arrested for secretly filming clients

Authorities in Bakırköy, Turkey, have arrested three individuals following allegations of a beauty and epilation center secretly filming its clients. The operation was initiated after a tip reported that customer images were being recorded and then shared for profit on social media platforms.

During a raid on the premises, police discovered and confiscated a total of seven devices, one of which was an active hidden camera, along with six dismantled camera units. A significant amount of digital material was also seized. An initial examination of this digital evidence revealed that approximately 14,000 videos had been disseminated through an online platform.

The investigation led to the arrest of the business owner and a second suspect identified as the individual who installed the camera system. They face charges including the violation of privacy, unlawful acquisition of personal data, and obscenity. The suspects' legal proceedings are ongoing.
