Bengal scales down security for politicians and officials after protection review

The West Bengal government's decision to scale down security for a number of prominent individuals, including political leaders and former officials, signals a significant shift in the state's approach to VIP protection. However, former minister Arup Biswas will no longer receive the enhanced protection previously afforded to him as a minister, reflecting his current status.
