The Campus League 2026 Basketball Regional Jakarta Season 1 is set for a thrilling conclusion as Universitas Bina Nusantara (Binus) and Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) are slated to compete in both the men's and women's championship finals. The games are scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the UPH Basketball Court in Karawaci, Tangerang, Banten.

In the women's bracket, UPH secured their place in the final after a comeback victory against Institut Perbanas, with a final score of 51-37. Despite trailing 6-13 in the first quarter, the home team rallied to take control of the game. UPH player Jennifer Chioma Igbojike expressed confidence, stating, "We have the confidence, we can do it, and we are the ones who can win, so we will keep focusing. There is pressure as the host, but it's good for motivation, and I think what makes me happy is that the coach accepts that pressure as something positive."

UPH's coach, Fajar Kusumasari, emphasized the importance of rest and recovery before the final match. "Our preparation is sufficient to face anyone in the final, so the focus is on recovery. Tomorrow, just play good basketball. Because in this Jakarta Regional, I feel all teams are strong and have the potential to beat each other. It won't be easy, but we remain optimistic, we will do our best and aim for the championship," she said.

Binus completed the women's final lineup by defeating Universitas Budi Luhur 55-41. On the men's side, Binus advanced to the final by overcoming Institut Perbanas with a score of 68-56. Binus men's coach Jap Ricky Lesmana highlighted defensive discipline as key to their victory. "What's certain is our win came from defensive discipline, and we were also aggressive, eventually we found our rhythm and were able to pull away," he noted.

UPH also secured their spot in the men's final, defeating Universitas Trisakti 74-55. The Regional Jakarta competition, running from May 24 to May 31, 2026, features 16 men's teams and eight women's teams from 16 universities. Notably, the competition includes teams from Serang, Banten, and even Universitas Riau from Pekanbaru, extending beyond the immediate Jakarta area.
