Bishkek Announces Second Auction for Public Toilet Locations

The city of Bishkek is re-offering the rights to establish public toilets through a second auction, seeking to optimize the use of municipal land and enhance urban infrastructure. This initiative follows an initial auction where three locations were successfully awarded.

The first round, which ran from June 15 to July 15, identified winners for plots at the intersections of 7 Aprelya and Akhunbaev streets, in microdistrict No. 12 near building No. 62, and at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Kurmanjan Datka Street. Contracts have been finalized for these sites.

Now, the Municipal Property Management Department is putting nine additional land plots up for bid. These include locations on Kochkor-Tynybekov Street; Muromskaya and Ayini streets (near the City Clinical Emergency Hospital); Ayini Street, 209 (in the new park); Bakayev and Ayini streets (Ostrovsky, 41); Profsoyuznaya and Patrice Lumumba streets; Shevchenko Street, near building No. 12; Fere and Dzerzhinsky streets (in the "40th Anniversary of Kyrgyzstan" park); the "Kozhzavod" park; and Chokmorov and Shevchenko streets.
