Bishkek hotel construction halted, company fined 200,000 soms

The construction of a three-story hotel in Bishkek has been temporarily suspended following the discovery of significant violations of building requirements. The Ministry of Construction reported that the site, located at 391 Deng Xiaoping Avenue, failed to adhere to construction norms, technical regulations, and other mandatory standards during its building and assembly work.

Following an inspection, the construction company, PGS Elit LLC, received a formal order to correct the identified issues. In addition to the directive, the company was fined 200,000 Kyrgyz soms for the infractions. The construction work on the hotel has been halted until all violations are fully addressed and the building process is brought into compliance with the law.

The suspension underscores the importance of adhering to established building codes and regulations to ensure safety and quality in construction projects within the capital. The authorities are emphasizing strict enforcement to prevent future occurrences and maintain standards in the city's development.
