Bishkek Police Report Peaceful Graduation Celebrations

Graduation ceremonies concluded across Bishkek's educational institutions, with students receiving their diplomas. Following the official proceedings, many graduates and their families gathered at various restaurants and venues in the capital for celebratory graduation parties.

To ensure public safety and order, the Bishkek General Directorate of Internal Affairs (GUVD) deployed personnel from district police departments, the patrol service, and the traffic police. Officers maintained a presence near the locations of the graduation events.

Thanks to the adopted measures, the coordinated work of police officers, as well as the responsible attitude of parents and organizers, the graduation parties took place in a calm atmosphere, without emergencies and violations of public order.

The GUVD reported that, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the police and the responsible conduct of parents and organizers, the graduation parties proceeded peacefully, without any emergencies or public order disturbances. Graduates dispersed safely after the celebrations concluded.

The Bishkek GUVD expressed gratitude to the teaching staff, parents, and all citizens for their assistance in ensuring the safe conduct of the events. They extended well wishes to the graduates for their future success and well-being. Previously, the GUVD had advised against organizing unauthorized farewell parties, out-of-town trips, or gatherings near water bodies that could pose risks to graduates' safety. The Ministry of Education, as in previous years, prohibited schools from organizing additional events beyond the official diploma ceremonies.
