"Bitė" Acquires 700 MHz Frequencies for Enhanced Mobile Internet Services

Telecommunications company "Bitė Lietuva" has secured a significant block of 700 MHz radio frequencies, a move poised to enhance its mobile internet services. The company emerged as the winner of a specific frequency band in an auction conducted by the Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT).

"Bitė Lietuva" has announced its intention to activate these newly acquired frequencies by October. The company further plans to fully integrate and deploy these frequencies throughout its entire network by the conclusion of the current year. This strategic acquisition is expected to bolster the quality and speed of mobile internet offerings to its customer base.

The RRT's auction of the 700 MHz band is a crucial step in modernizing Lithuania's telecommunications infrastructure, paving the way for improved mobile broadband capabilities across the country.
