BizLink-KY reports second-highest monthly revenue in August

BizLink-KY posted August revenue of NT$8.89 billion, its second-highest monthly figure. The result fell 7.66% from July but rose 53.99% from a year earlier. Revenue for the first eight months reached NT$62.632 billion, up 40.01% year on year and marking the company’s strongest performance for that period.

Management said customer interaction and long-term infrastructure investment trends remained constructive. It also pointed to continued growth momentum in high-performance computing and semiconductor equipment, in line with the direction outlined at its investor briefing.

The company said demand trends and its medium- to long-term outlook had not materially changed since that briefing. Monthly revenue can still fluctuate because of seasonal factors, shipment schedules, customer validation, product transitions and normal operating variation, it said, rather than because of a shift in underlying demand.

BizLink said progress in its optical communications products was slightly ahead of expectations. Internal connectivity products for 102.4T co-packaged optical switches have completed sample deliveries, with small-volume shipments expected to begin in the second half of the year.

The group is also developing related products with a leading Taiwanese foundry and a major Japanese optical connector maker. Its acquisition of Shinfox Far East has added capabilities in silicon photonics and fiber array units. Strong optical communications orders have pushed existing capacity close to full utilization, prompting expansion in Tainan and China. New production lines are expected to come online gradually in the second half of the year, increasing total fiber capacity several times over current levels.
