BMW Motorrad Malaysia launches new F 450 GS adventure bike around RM40,000

BMW Motorrad Malaysia has introduced the new BMW F 450 GS, an adventure motorcycle aimed at riders seeking a lighter and more manageable machine for both daily commutes and extended journeys. The bike is launched with an estimated price tag of RM40,000.

Unveiled first as a concept at the EICMA international motorcycle show in 2024, the F 450 GS is now entering production, exclusively offered in a Trophy edition. Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, stated that the launch reflects the company's commitment to broadening access to the GS riding experience for more Malaysian riders.

Nagel emphasized that the F 450 GS is more than just a smaller version of the GS family; it was specifically developed to retain the brand's signature agility, versatility, and riding enjoyment. "With the new BMW F 450 GS, we bring that concept to more riders in Malaysia."

This model offers a balance between daily use, long-distance comfort, and the ability to tackle challenging routes in a lighter and easier-to-handle package.

The motorcycle incorporates the BMW Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) system, a centrifugal clutch designed for smoother starts, gear changes, and riding on challenging terrain. Additionally, the use of high-quality components, including magnesium, contributes to a reduced overall weight, thereby improving performance and handling. The F 450 GS is expected to strengthen BMW Motorrad's position in the premium adventure motorcycle segment, which continues to see strong demand in Malaysia.

BMW F 450 GS is equipped with BMW Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) technology, a centrifugal clutch system designed to facilitate control when starting, changing gears, and riding on challenging terrain.
