Bogor DPRD Chairman Urges Officials to Improve Public Services

Bogor City officials have been urged to enhance public services following the appointment of new leaders for key government agencies. The city's DPRD Chairman, Adityawarman Adil, attended the inauguration of high-ranking officials, functional officials, and school principals on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

During the ceremony, Adityawarman Adil congratulated the appointees and stressed the importance of improving service quality for the citizens of Bogor. Among the significant appointments were Rudi Mashudi as the Head of the Environmental Agency (DLH) and Pupung as the Head of the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP).

"Today we attended the inauguration of the High Pratama Leadership for the Heads of the Environmental Agency and the new Satpol PP. We congratulate Mr. Rudi Mashudi on his appointment as Head of the Environmental Agency, and Mr. Pupung as Head of the Bogor City Satpol PP," said Adityawarman Adil. Rudiyana was also appointed as a Special Staff to the Mayor, alongside hundreds of functional officials and school principals.

Mayor Dedie A. Rachim highlighted the substantial responsibilities of the new DLH and Satpol PP heads. He expressed high expectations for their performance, particularly concerning public order enforcement and the regulation of street vendors in key areas like Alun-Alun, Sempur Field, and Taman Heulang. "With that experience, I am confident that in the future he can carry out his duties wholeheartedly and maximize the existing authority. So there is no need to hesitate anymore, in the future the city's order will run better," Dedie stated regarding Pupung's appointment.

For the environmental sector, Rudi Mashudi faces the challenge of continuing waste management initiatives, especially the Waste-to-Energy (PSEL) project, with a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for July 8. The Mayor expects the new leadership to positively impact public services and operate without field-level obstacles.
