The President of Bolivia, Rodrigo Paz, maintained this Wednesday that the Argentine political consultant Fernando Cerimedo, imprisoned for an alleged attempt at femicide against his ex-partner, "never had the authorization" to represent the Bolivian Presidency, the Government, or his family.

Paz explained that Cerimedo's initial engagement in Bolivia was related to the 2025 general elections, where he was slated to work with other presidential candidates. Following Paz's victory in the first round of elections, a contact was established for Cerimedo to contribute to the campaign for the second round, leveraging his reputation as a globally recognized strategist.
