Bolivian Team Inter Stars Rush Finishes Runner-Up in Conmebol U-16 League, Qualifies for Madrid Tournament

Inter Stars Rush, the Bolivian representative, finished as the runner-up in the Conmebol U-16 Women's League, falling 4-0 to River Plate in the final match. Despite the defeat, the team concluded a historic campaign, securing qualification for the Conmebol Evolution Fiesta International Encounter in Madrid.

The players earned the silver medal, marking one of the best performances in Bolivian women's football history. Their qualification for the international tournament in Madrid, scheduled for December 2026, means they will represent Bolivia alongside other prominent continental teams.

Coach Roger Romay's team faced a challenging start, opening the tournament with a loss against Selección de Antioquia. However, they quickly regrouped, stringing together victories against Universidad Católica de Chile, Independiente del Valle, and Alianza Lima to advance to the decisive stages.
