Bomb drone found near Ukrainian plane at German airport, police detonate device

German police detonated a modified "bomb drone" found near a Ukrainian transport aircraft at Leipzig/Halle Airport early Tuesday. The drone, discovered near an Antonov Airlines An-124 cargo plane, was reportedly equipped with an explosive device and unknown substances.

The discovery prompted an immediate suspension of all flights at the airport, diverting several services to other locations. Police deployed a bomb disposal robot to neutralize the suspicious device.
