This year's festival, the 21st Liburnicon, centers on the theme of "Outlaws." For over two decades, the festival has gathered enthusiasts of fantasy, literature, film, science, and creative arts. This iteration delves into the world of pirates, Uskoks, cowboys, werewolves, and mythical heroes, characters who have become memorable as outlaws throughout history, legends, and popular culture.

Burić's participation is directly linked to the festival's theme. He will join historian Robert Kurelić in a discussion titled "How Does History Become an Epic Story?" Burić will share insights into the creation of large-scale historical, fictional, and documentary television projects, including "Croatian Kings," "Republic," "The Age of the Uskoks," and "Diocletian." His work often features warriors, pirates, and border guards who lived on the fringes of empires and laws, aligning perfectly with the festival's focus.
