Brothers' Yue Dong-hua returns to second base after minor physical issue

Brothers' catcher Yue Dong-hua is back at second base after a nine-day hiatus, reuniting with Jiang Kun-yu to form the "golden double play" combination. Yue's absence from the second base position for the previous two games, where Zhang Shi-lun took over, was due to a physical issue. Brothers' manager Hirano Keiichi clarified that Yue experienced some tightness during the All-Star break.

Initially, the team had planned for Zhang Shi-lun to continue starting at second base. However, after observing Yue Dong-hua's practice performance and determining he was physically ready, the decision was made to reinstate him at second base, with Zhang Shi-lun shifting to third base.

The Brothers have been rotating Zhang Shi-lun and Zhang Ren-wei at third base recently, with Huang Wei-sheng moving to first base. This strategic adjustment is partly in preparation for Huang Wei-sheng's participation in the Asian Games. Hirano Keiichi noted the need to plan for the team's situation during Huang Wei-sheng's absence, stating, "He will be away for a while playing in the Asian Games, so we must plan ahead for that situation."
