Queen Camilla, who champions literacy through her 'The Queen's Reading Room' initiative, also honored Parton. Her organization referred to the late artist as an "icon" and an "unwavering advocate" for reading. They noted that Parton's 'Imagination Library' had donated over 300 million books to children in more than 30 years, giving them "the most precious gift: the opportunity for millions of young minds to open the door to imagination and the possibility of a lifelong love of reading."
