The Liberal Party (PL) has officially announced Flávio Roscoe, a prominent Minas Gerais businessman, as its candidate for the state's governorship. The announcement was made via a video message, featuring Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, who is also the PL's presidential candidate.

In the video, Flávio Bolsonaro expressed gratitude for the support and groundwork leading up to Roscoe's nomination. He lauded the former president of Fiemg (Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais) as a candidate possessing "high preparation and confidence," signaling strong party backing.

His entry into the PL was marked by an event attended by party president Valdemar Costa Neto and federal deputy Domingos Sávio.
