Ca Mau province inspects officials' performance in administrative tasks

Ca Mau province in Vietnam has launched a public administration inspection campaign, establishing a dedicated task force to scrutinize the performance of civil servants and their superiors. The inspection, led by the provincial Department of Home Affairs, aims to ensure adherence to work regulations and professional conduct among government employees.

The inspection team will assess various aspects of administrative work, including punctuality, compliance with internal rules, and the overall attitude and responsibility demonstrated by officials when processing applications and serving the public. A key focus will be on evaluating the accountability of heads of departments and agencies in overseeing their subordinates and ensuring efficient service delivery.

This initiative seeks to proactively identify and address instances of negligence, such as officials avoiding duties, passing the buck, or causing undue delays and difficulties for citizens and businesses. By emphasizing the responsibility of leadership, the provincial authorities intend to foster a more responsive and efficient administrative system within Ca Mau. The task force comprises representatives from various provincial departments, including Justice, Inspection, and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring a comprehensive review.
