Ho Chi Minh City Police Seek Identity of Woman Found Dead Under Unclear Circumstances

Authorities in Ho Chi Minh City are appealing for information to identify a woman whose body was discovered under mysterious circumstances. The grim find was made by a sanitation worker who detected a foul odor emanating from a sack near a garment factory.

The discovery occurred on July 3rd when an employee of Saigon 3 Garment Company, identified as L.M.P., was working in the area behind the factory. He found a blue sack containing a body and immediately alerted the police. The location was the embankment behind the company at No. 47, Street 17, in Hiep Binh Ward.

Investigators from the Ho Chi Minh City Police's Investigative Police Agency (PC02) responded promptly, conducting on-site examinations and an autopsy. Preliminary findings suggest the victim was female and had been deceased for over four days prior to her discovery on July 3rd.

To aid in the identification and investigation, police have released a description of the victim. She is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, stands about 1.6 meters tall, with an average build. She had long, brown-black hair and her fingernails and toenails were painted pink. She had no tattoos. At the time of discovery, she was wearing a black tank top and black shorts.
