Cak Imin Reveals Reason for Adopting 'Prabowonomics' as PKB Anniversary Theme

The National Awakening Party (PKB) has chosen "Prabowonomics" as the theme for its 28th-anniversary celebration, signaling a new direction for national economic policy. Party chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, widely known as Cak Imin, stated that the theme, derived from "Arah Baru Amanat Ekonomi Konstitusi" (New Direction of the Constitution's Economic Mandate), represents the party's gratitude and commitment to steering the national economy.

Iskandar explained that PKB is inspired by President Prabowo Subianto's spirit and dedication to establishing a new economic trajectory amidst complex geopolitical and geo-economic challenges. He referenced Prabowo's emphasis on Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution, which aligns with PKB's goal of restoring the people's economic rights and achieving welfare swiftly. Iskandar highlighted the president's efforts to protect Indonesia's rich natural resources for the benefit of its citizens, a move he believes is crucial for economic sovereignty.

PKB explicitly supports a single-door policy for natural resource exports, viewing it as a primary method for asserting economic sovereignty. Iskandar expressed confidence that this new economic direction, beginning with the safeguarding of natural resources, is more than just rhetoric. He stated that the party has long desired such a focus and is now witnessing concrete actions from the president.

"We are fully convinced that the orientation and new direction of the economy, starting from the preservation of natural resources, is not merely rhetoric or a daydream. We have longed for this, and we are witnessing the President's policies unfolding before our very eyes with various concrete efforts that we observe," Iskandar said. He emphasized that this approach is essential for building an independent and robust nation based on its own strengths.
