Cantika Review: Testing Klavuu Cushion’s Staying Power in Hot Weather

Finding a Korean cushion that suits combination skin, covers acne scars and survives hot weather can be difficult. In this Cantika review, the Klavuu Actress Backstage Boosting Cushion Fixing performed strongly on all three fronts.

The reviewer, who has medium skin with a cool, bluish-purple undertone, tested shade 21 Soft Ivory. Korean makeup shades can sometimes look grey on this complexion, but this shade blended well and created a natural brightening effect without appearing too pale.

Coverage proved to be the product’s strongest feature. One or two thin taps covered redness and dark acne scars without requiring concealer. Despite the full coverage, the cushion felt light rather than thick or heavy on the skin.

The reviewer then tested it outdoors in warm weather. Sweat appeared around the T-zone, as expected with combination skin, but the cushion did not fade easily and showed no obvious caking or cracking. The makeup stayed in place. For the best all-day result, however, the reviewer advised setting it with loose powder and setting spray to control oil around the nose and forehead.

The review gave the product 5 out of 5 for coverage, 4.5 for comfort and 4 for staying power. Shade 21 Soft Ivory was considered suitable for medium skin with a cool undertone.
