Kamil Majchrzak achieved a career-defining success by defeating former world No. 1 Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals of the 's-Hertogenbosch tournament. The Polish tennis player secured his spot in the final with a 7-6(4), 6-1 victory over the Russian.

Majchrzak, currently ranked 76th in the world, showcased resilience against the highly decorated Medvedev.
