Casper Pedersen to Join Uno-X in 2027

Casper Pedersen will add another Dane to Uno-X from 2027, leaving Quick-Step for the Norwegian-owned team on a contract that runs through the end of 2029.

Pedersen said he had long dreamed of joining Uno-X Mobility. He praised the team’s development in recent years and said its environment could help him take another step as a rider.

“I’m really looking forward to becoming part of the strong team spirit you can see at Uno-X. The way they race as one united group is inspiring and brings out the best in everyone. I think it will be a fantastic environment for me,” Pedersen said.

I have long dreamed of switching to Uno-X Mobility. The team’s development in recent years has been impressive, and I believe I can take another step as a rider in the environment the team offers.

The 30-year-old has competed in six Grand Tours and spent eight seasons on the World Tour. He has three victories, including his biggest win at Paris-Tours in 2020. At Uno-X, he aims to compete in the Giro d’Italia, the only Grand Tour he has not yet ridden.

Uno-X currently counts Magnus Cort, Anthon Charmig and Alexander Kamp among its Danish riders. Cort will retire after this season.
