CBN brings fast, affordable internet to Indonesian homes

As Indonesia's homes transform into digital activity hubs, driven by AI advancements and increased online entertainment consumption, internet needs are evolving. National internet penetration stands at 81.72%, with approximately 235 million users, according to a 2026 APJII survey. CBN Fiber's Commerce Director, Dedy Handoko, stated that future internet services will be defined by their ability to provide an integrated digital lifestyle experience. "Seeing these changes, our retail service, CBN Fiber, introduces the All-in-One Home Connected concept," Handoko said. This approach bundles fast internet, engaging entertainment, digital security, and AI-driven customer service into a practical and affordable package.

Anticipating the rise of AI, which will drive demand for faster internet, CBN has offered home internet speeds up to 1 Gbps for a decade. Now, they are expanding access with plans ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps unlimited, starting at Rp199,000 monthly. This includes exclusive access to DramaHits, a new micro-drama app, complementing existing bundles like Dens TV, Vidio, and Vision+.

Digital security is also a primary concern for Indonesian households due to increasing online risks such as phishing and identity theft. CBN Fiber addresses this with Trend Micro's digital protection against cyber threats and additional insurance from AON and Chubb for online fraud protection. Customer experience is further enhanced through AI-powered after-sales service.
