Central Java Police to Assist in Exhumation of Sutrimo's Body

The Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jateng) has pledged its full support for the exhumation of Sutrimo's body, a former household employee of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah. Sutrimo's death in Banyumas is being treated as potentially unnatural, prompting further investigation.

Kombes Pol Yuliyanto, Head of Public Relations for Polda Jateng, stated that the regional police are ready to assist the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) in all aspects of the exhumation process. This includes preparation, execution, and post-exhumation activities. Polda Jateng is also coordinating with the Banyumas Resort Police (Polresta Banyumas) to ensure the security of Sutrimo's burial site during the procedure.

An exhumation is considered a crucial step in gathering evidence to clarify the circumstances surrounding a death. Polda Jateng is currently awaiting confirmation from Polda Metro Jaya, which is handling the primary investigation into Sutrimo's case. The family of the deceased officially reported the death to Polresta Banyumas on August 8, 2026.

Following an initial case review by Polresta Banyumas and Polda Jateng, the investigation was transferred to Polda Metro Jaya. The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya has reportedly scheduled the exhumation for August 12, 2026. Sutrimo was buried in his hometown in Banyumas Regency, Central Java.
