Central Sulawesi's provincial government has identified the digitalization of payment systems as crucial for driving economic growth in the region. Deputy Governor Reny A. Lamadjido emphasized this point during the Posalia Sulteng Digifest 2026 event in Palu.

Lamadjido praised the expanding use of digital payments, noting that the transformation makes economic transactions quicker, simpler, safer, and more efficient. She highlighted that this digital shift not only benefits the public but also strengthens the region's economic foundation, fostering a modern economic ecosystem and improving business operations.
