Central Sulawesi Governor Anwar Hafid is forging economic ties with China's Hainan Province, aiming to enhance the strategic position of Central Sulawesi within the Eastern Indonesia economic landscape. This diplomatic initiative seeks to broaden investment opportunities and cultivate new economic growth drivers based on the region's unique potential.

Discussions in Haikou, Hainan's capital, were reportedly warm and productive, covering several strategic sectors for long-term collaboration.
