Chiayi Executive Agency to auction 23 properties in September, including new homes

The Administrative Executive Agency's Chiayi Branch is set to conduct a joint auction on September 1, offering 23 real estate properties in the Yunlin and Chiayi regions. The sale aims to recover unpaid taxes and fines, with several properties being auctioned at prices well below market value.

The auction will be divided into two sessions. The morning session, held at the Yunlin office, will feature 10 properties from the Yunlin area. In the afternoon, the Chiayi branch will auction 13 properties. Following the real estate auction, stocks and trademark rights will also be put up for bid starting at 3:30 PM at the Chiayi branch.

A notable item is a brand-new, three-story house in Douliu, Yunlin, completed in 2023. The property, owned by an individual who owes over 1.66 million NT dollars in various taxes and fines, has a current minimum auction price of 16.2 million NT dollars. This is approximately 80% of its original value and significantly lower than recent property transactions in the vicinity. The house features a living room, a kitchen with gas appliances on the first floor, four rooms with bathrooms on the second and third floors, and an elevator.
