Child Hospitalized After Soccer Goal Falls on Him in Romania

A young boy has been hospitalized after a frightening accident involving a soccer goal at a sports field in Dragomirești, Vaslui County, Romania. The eight-year-old child was playing with friends when the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, the boy became entangled with one of the soccer goals, causing it to fall directly onto him and strike him in the head. Emergency services were alerted via a 112 call, and an ambulance with a doctor quickly arrived at the scene.

Medical personnel found the child conscious and coherent, despite having experienced a transient loss of consciousness. He was suffering from significant localized pain, vomiting, and a bleeding wound on his forehead. After receiving initial first aid at the site, the boy was transported to Vaslui County Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
