Children can be firefighters for a day in Paraguay

In celebration of Children's Day, the Volunteer Firefighters Corps of Paraguay (CBVP) is inviting children to participate in its "Firefighters for a Day" event. This initiative, which has been held in previous years, aims to introduce youngsters to the heroic profession of firefighting.

Children will have the opportunity to visit fire stations across the country, meet firefighters, and see their vehicles. The event is designed to be both educational and fun, with planned play and learning activities throughout the day. The CBVP officially announced the initiative on its social media channels, encouraging families to participate.

The "Firefighters for a Day" event is scheduled for Sunday, August 23. Children are encouraged to visit their local CBVP stations. Specific details for each company, unit, or base of operations will be available on the local CBVP social media pages. In the capital city, the event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the First Company Headquarters (K1), located at Rafael Barret and Capitán Román García in the Villa Aurelia neighborhood.

This event is part of a broader series of Children's Day celebrations organized in Paraguay, offering a unique experience for children to engage with and appreciate the work of firefighters.
