Chile offers free AI courses to 100,000 entrepreneurs through 'Digitaliza tu Pyme' program

Chile is launching a significant initiative to equip small and medium-sized enterprises with artificial intelligence skills. The "Digitaliza tu Pyme" program, spearheaded by the Undersecretariat of Economy, plans to offer free AI training to approximately 100,000 entrepreneurs nationwide.

This program is a collaboration between the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (Cenia) and Sofofa Capital Humano. Its core objective is to enhance the everyday productivity of micro, small, and medium businesses by teaching them how to effectively utilize generative AI tools.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating must first register themselves and their company using their Clave Única or a pre-existing account. A crucial step in the application process is completing the "Chequeo Digital," an online self-diagnostic tool designed to measure the company's digital maturity.
