A significant fire broke out at a warehouse belonging to a subsidiary of China's state-owned Xiamen Xiangyu Group in Shandong province. The blaze was intense, with flames and smoke visible for miles, and video footage of the incident circulated widely online.

The warehouse, operated by Qingdao Xiangyu Sucheng Supply Chain Co., Ltd., is located in the Huangdao District of Qingdao. The fire spread rapidly, igniting adjacent factory buildings and raising concerns about potential further hazards due to its proximity to industrial areas and high-voltage power lines.

While the official cause of the fire is still under investigation, unconfirmed online rumors attribute the incident to an employee who allegedly set the warehouse ablaze out of revenge. The term "Xian Zhong" used in the rumors refers to acts of indiscriminate violence or mass killing, referencing historical figures.

Despite the ongoing firefighting operations and the scale of the fire, authorities quickly issued a statement claiming that no personnel were trapped or injured. However, the report also noted that rescue and suppression efforts were continuing, raising questions about the swiftness of the casualty report.
