Chinese embassy: Worker killed in Iranian attack on company building in Kuwait was Nepalese

The Chinese Embassy in Kuwait has clarified that the sole fatality in an Iranian attack on a Chinese company's building in northern Kuwait was a Nepalese driver employed by a subcontractor. The embassy stated that no Chinese citizens were killed or injured in the incident, though the attack resulted in substantial material damage to the company's property.

Kuwait's Ministry of Defense had previously announced the attack, identifying the target as a building belonging to a Chinese company. Ministry spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan reported one worker's death and serious material damage. The Chinese embassy confirmed it is closely monitoring the situation and reiterated that its nationals in Kuwait remain unharmed.
