Chinese fried chicken employee caught scratching buttocks, packing food without washing hands

A video circulating online shows an employee of "Lemon Captain Korean Fried Chicken" reaching into his pants to scratch his buttocks for over 20 seconds before resuming food preparation.

The disturbing act was captured on the restaurant's own "bright kitchen" live stream, which is intended to provide transparency to customers ordering through delivery platforms. After the employee's unhygienic actions, he proceeded to use tongs to pack fried chicken for customers without washing his hands, a detail that horrified viewers.

The video quickly went viral, prompting widespread condemnation from netizens who expressed disgust and renewed anxiety about the hygiene practices of food delivery services. Many commented on the "smell" emanating from the screen and questioned the effectiveness of such surveillance systems.

Following the public outcry, the restaurant's delivery platform page now shows it as "closed." The brand's national customer service stated that the headquarters was aware of the video and had ordered the affected store to suspend operations for rectification.
