Civil servant found dead, hanging in his Indramayu home

Residents of a housing complex in Indramayu, Indonesia, were shocked Monday evening upon discovering a neighbor, a civil servant, dead by hanging in his two-story home. The victim was found still wearing his khaki-colored official uniform and footwear.

The discovery was made around 5:30 PM by a security guard who was alerted by a street vendor. The victim was reportedly alone in the house at the time, as his wife and children were staying at her parents' home. The security guard noted that the victim had resided in the area for a long time and was generally quiet.
