Collaboration Between Bekasi City Government and Prosecutor's Office Supports Sports for People with Disabilities

The Bekasi City Government, in partnership with the District Attorney's Office, officially opened the 2026 Regional Paralympic Student Sports Week (PEPARPEDA) at the GOR Bang Yan, within the Stadion Patriot Candrabhaga complex. This event is designed as a crucial initiative for nurturing sports among students with disabilities, offering them a vital arena to hone their skills, gain competitive experience, and achieve athletic success.

The organization of PEPARPEDA 2026 involves a broad coalition of supporters, including various regional government bodies, sports organizations, schools, the athletes' families, the wider community, and the Forum for Regional Leadership Coordination of Bekasi City. The presence of the Head of the Bekasi City District Attorney's Office, Sulvia Triana Hapsari, at the opening ceremony underscored the office's commitment to supporting youth development and the advancement of sports for disabled students.
