Colleagues Mourn Unexpected Death of Politician Jevgenijus Šuklinas

The sudden death of politician Jevgenijus Šuklinas has sent shockwaves through his community, with friends and colleagues remembering him as a rare example of an honest and dedicated public servant.

Ričardas Savukynas shared a heartfelt tribute, emphasizing Šuklinas's integrity and his genuine efforts to improve his hometown of Visaginas. "Jevgenijus Šuklinas was one such person who cared about his city Visaginas, tried to do everything to make that city a better part of Lithuania," Savukynas wrote, recalling Šuklinas's passion for the city.

Others echoed these sentiments, with Edvardas Žičkus expressing profound grief, stating, "Jevgenijus Šuklinas, God should not have taken you so early... He shouldn't have!"
