Comedian Lee Jin-ho, 'Illegal Gambling Suspicion,' Sent to Prosecutors After Supplementary Investigation

South Korean prosecutors are now reviewing the case of comedian Lee Jin-ho, who has been forwarded with a recommendation for indictment on charges of illegal online gambling. The police have concluded their supplementary investigations, reportedly confirming details about the gambling website Lee allegedly used and related financial accounts. The investigation involved multiple stages and requests for supplementary evidence from the prosecution. Adding to his legal troubles, Lee Jin-ho is also facing separate charges for drunk driving. He was reportedly apprehended for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content exceeding the legal limit for license revocation. Lee has admitted to the drunk driving charges. Meanwhile, reports indicate that Lee has been hospitalized in intensive care after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage at his home on the first of the month, adding a serious health concern to his ongoing legal battles.
