Commander of Military Region XIII/Merdeka Demands Young NCOs Show Discipline and Loyalty

The Commander of Military Region XIII/Merdeka, Major General TNI Mirza Agus, has called upon young non-commissioned officers to embody high levels of discipline, loyalty, and fighting spirit. This directive was issued during the closing ceremony of the Basic Training for Non-Commissioned Officers (Dikmaba) TNI AD Gelombang II for the 2026 Fiscal Year in Amurang, South Minahasa Regency.

Major General Mirza Agus stressed that the completion of this training signifies not an end, but the beginning of true service as soldiers of the Indonesian Army. A total of 73 young non-commissioned officers officially concluded their initial military training. He urged these new soldiers to uphold the Sapta Marga, the Soldier's Oath, and the Eightfold Path of the TNI in all their actions and conduct.

The commander encouraged them to take pride in being professional and dedicated army non-commissioned officers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the good name of their alma mater, Rindam XIII/Merdeka, and their future assignments. He highlighted that adaptive soldiers are best equipped to perform their duties optimally, urging them to pursue continuous learning and training due to the ever-changing global landscape and operational environments.

He attributed the success of the 73 graduates to their strong mentality, unwavering spirit, and high discipline. Appreciation was extended to the Commander of Rindam XIII/Merdeka, the entire staff, and the trainers for their role in shaping these young individuals into responsive, resilient, and agile soldiers. Major General Mirza Agus concluded by reminding them that behind every standing soldier lies the prayers of a mother, the steadfastness of a father, and the sacrifices of a family.
