Construction Halted, Developer Fined in Manas Over Building Code Violations

Construction of a multi-story residential building in Manas, Jalal-Abad region, Kyrgyzstan, has been suspended following the discovery of significant violations of construction laws and technical requirements. The Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services announced the halt on the complex located at 46 Bayzakova Street.

An inspection by the regional department of the State Department of Architectural and Construction Control revealed that the construction work deviated from the approved project documentation. Furthermore, one section of the building commenced without the necessary permits. Inspectors also identified breaches of sanitary and technical regulations at the site.

As a result of these findings, the construction company, OsОО 'Merkіt Kurulush,' has been issued a fine of 200,000 Kyrgyzstani som. Construction activities will remain paused until all identified violations are rectified. The Ministry of Construction has reiterated the importance for all construction companies and private developers to strictly comply with legislative requirements, building codes, and technical regulations during their projects.
