Edoghotu clarified that his appearance at an oil spill site was purely for legitimate duty—to inspect the extent of damage—and not, as implied, to engage in sabotage. He expressed bewilderment at being linked to such incidents, particularly in light of a viral video presented by Tantita. The company stands by its performance, citing a verifiable 96% oil output record as clear evidence of its integrity and effectiveness in protecting oil assets, though it emphasizes it covers only a portion of the land areas.

Abili insists that while it supports local contractors securing federal government contracts, this should not come at the expense of unfairly discrediting other operators. The company feels its corporate integrity was unjustly maligned during Tantita's presentation.
